Our logo symbolizes the principles of HUNA LIFE International. We used both words for the Uhane and pictures for the Unihipili. Reading the logo from the outer edge to its center, this is what it represents:
Green Ti Leaf Lei: The Ti plant is sacred in Hawaii. It is used for many purposes, including blessings and protection. It is considered lucky to have Ti plants growing in your home. Because it is a sacred living plant, it symbolizes the High Self, the Aumakua, surrounding and protecting the other elements of the logo.
Golden Circle: The circle symbolizes the eternal. Gold is the color that represents good health and prosperity. The golden circle contains the principles of HUNA LIFE International.
Outer Words: Reading the words from left to right clockwise around the golden circle, we have Ho'ola which means Healing; Aloha which means Spirit; 'Ohana which means Family; and, Lokahi which means Unity. These principles together bring us into harmony and balance and remind us to live the HUNA Way.
Green Inner Circle: The green inner circle represents the energy and abundance of life on Mother Earth. "HUNA LIFE International" resides here as a model of how to live in Oneness with all life.
Golden Triangle: The golden triangle is symbolic of the path of communication between the Three Selves. It also represents the Triad of the Three Selves. The pyramid shape or triangle is an ancient symbol and it symbolizes the first breath of life upon the Earth.
Petroglyph Figures: The petroglyph figures represent the Three Selves with the High Self or Aumakua embracing the other two selves. The High Self is depicted as larger representing the parent-self. The petroglyphs remind us of the roots of HUNA-the teachings of the ancient KaHUNA of Hawaii. These figures are copies of petroglyphs carved on rocks in the Hawaiian Islands.
